Time to surface for a quick update. By design, we’ve stayed quiet & lean in this new Covid-19 era… what’s to say in the middle of a pandemic? Despite limited staff, shorter hours & closing Sundays, we’re all good, healthy and safe here. Likely you too have adapted to the new normal in the year of the mask, as we all make the adjustments in coping with the dreaded virus.
After enduring a mandatory 5-week closure, the virus also disrupted our biggest and most anticipated event of the year. Record Store Day, traditionally held in April, will now be “socially-distanced” over three Saturdays; August 29, September 26 & October 24. RSD fans can now look forward to the same excitement of finding exclusive, limited titles spread over three dates. The master list publicly released in March, will now be split up into three. Get a preview of this year’s offerings at www.recordstoreday.com In the days ahead look for regular updates on some of those coveted gems to be stocked for Saturday, August 29th!
For now, we continue to fine-tune the store for an even better shopping experience and we’re well-stocked in keeping with our slogan “When having a hard-copy matters.” Come on down for that last-minute gift or simply, the thrill of finding that unexpected surprise.
Remember, temporary “Corona” hours are Monday-Thursday: Noon-6, Friday-Saturday: 11-7 and closed Sundays. THANK YOU to our die-hard customers who brave the virus and keep us rolling along. We’ll be in touch …stay safe everybody!
