With the pandemic cloud nearly behind us, we thought it’d be a good time to update everyone on the most recent developments at All That Music & Video. Many of our most enthusiastic fans continue to ask us about our initial plans for a second outlet on Boeing Drive as previously announced.
You’ll remember the COVID outbreak in March, 2020 forced us to close for several months, upending and disrupting not only our lives, but the plan. Turns out that three-month shutdown gave us time to rethink and retool our plans for the better.
With the endless intake of used media finding its way to Boeing, the warehouse is an ongoing mess and anything but customer friendly. The space is perfect for the sorting, grading and processing of used media and the administrative and e-commerce components of our business. But it’s not organized for our customers’ convenience. That’s why all plans to convert the warehouse into a retail store have been shelved. “It’s Boeing, Boeing Gone!”
On the flip side, it’s all good news! Since reopening in June 2020, our success at the Fountains has been nothing short of miraculous! This, despite the cramped and limited space that prevents us from showcasing our entire inventory. Our veteran customers know this only too well. For these reasons along with our exploding audience, ATMV has been invited to plan and redesign a larger space at the Fountains.
This expansion will accommodate a deeper stock of inventory that is presently in storage at Boeing. It’s early in the planning and design stage, but customers should be looking for a formal announcement in the months ahead that will lay out the new, improved, post-COVID plan.
We’ve been refining this act for four decades. In recent times, the audience for new and collectible vinyl and other classic formats has actually grown, not dwindled. We’re especially amazed at the number of customers in their teens and early ‘20s who support the store’s unique product mix, giving credence to our slogan “When having a hard copy matters.”
ATMV is perfectly positioned to cater to a new generation of vinyl enthusiasts as well as its core audience of collectors and nostalgia shoppers. For now, customers and fans are asked to stay tuned for exciting news in the months ahead. You are the reason we’re working on a more enhanced shopping experience. And we’re on it!”
