Video Department

Our Video Department at All That Music & Video is composed of several areas:

1. Quality pre-owned titles that are market-valued at $5.00 to 9.95. These movies are filed alphabetically by movie title library-book-style (spine-out) on our wall shelves.  If you see a title you like, just open up the packaging to find the price tag.
   • The actual DVD disc is located at the front counter, so bring your selections to a clerk who will match your selection with the disc. We cannot guarantee that any particular title is in-stock at any given time because these are one-of-a-kind movie titles that come-in and go-out according to our daily purchases & sales of used DVDs.
   • Many of these items are premium titles with an original retail value of $14-22 that are now just entering the used marketplace. Can’t stand to pay full retail?  Chances are, you’ll find the movie you want here at a price that will save you money!
2. Movies that are a bit older and commonly available in the market may be found in our renowned $4.95 table specials. This is where you’ll find the much-talked-about “best deal in town!”  because when you buy five DVDs, you pay only $4.00 each or “5 for $20.00”.
   • Many great movies eventually end up in this section when the used marketplace is saturated with the same title.   Find great mainstream & cult classics, B movies, TV movies, and other great budget product here.
   • The quantity and selection in our “5 for $20.00” DVDs can vary week-to-week from several hundred to thousands of items, depending on recent purchases.
   • Smart buyers know that better movies are found when we re-stock a new bulk purchase, but we can’t guarantee when we’ll receive one of our giant bulk purchases, so check-in regularly.  Chances are excellent that many of the top movies from 3-10 years ago will be found here.  Remember, the cases are empty, so retrieve & pay for your DVDs at the front counter.
3. Our “Classics & Best Sellers” are is composed of just that, Classic or critically acclaimed movies that have maintained their best-seller status over the years.
   • You’ll find movies such as Scarface, American Me, Gone with the Wind, Urban Cowboy, Saturday Night Fever, and Grease. Unfortunately, classic titles rarely come into the used marketplace so all items here are new & factory sealed with a retail price of $11.99 to 22.99.  Need a quick & easy DVD gift idea?  Chances are we have something that is  “just right” for anyone.
4. Music Video and hard-to-find imported concert videos are scattered throughout the store. Look for the video you want in the same place you’d find the artist’s music CDs.
   • Because our present CD merchandise fixtures cannot accommodate our entire & growing inventory of music DVDs,  overflow inventory is located toward the rear of the store.  Ask any clerk to help you find music video from any particular artist.
5. We can’t possibly stock everything, so if you need a special order quickly, remember that ATMV does daily over-night orders at no extra cost to you. We’ll get it in within 24-48 hours when your special order is placed Monday – Thursday before 3 p.m.  If you order on the weekend, chances are that we’ll have the item in stock by the following Tuesday.
   • Fill-out an easy special order form with a $5.00 deposit.  If you’re thinking of ordering from an internet vendor, remember you’ll pay an additional $3-5 dollars for shipping and you may be waiting for a week to 10 days.  Save yourself the hassle—let us handle the details.
6. We’re rapidly becoming experts and building our reputation for finding out-of-print and collectible DVDs. How?  We trade databases with our network of similar independent collectors’ stores throughout the country.
   • Be prepared to pay market value for your rare items.  Often, the cost of CDs & DVDs in this category is in the $20-50 range, but it isn’t unusual for rare discs to sell in the $100 range.  If you really want it, let us do the research and give you a quote.
