All That Music changes its name !
The longtime industry leader of locally-based music retailers in El Paso is undergoing a major change due to the today's fast-changing marketplace.
All That Music & Video is the new name of the store that over the years has been the city's favorite store for popular and specialty music.
According to owner George Reynoso, adding "Video" to the well-established "All That Music" name reflects a natural and necessary re-branding of his business. "Years ago we sold music on 45 and LP vinyl and cassettes. Then the business changed to the point where we mostly sold CDs. With the digital age upon us consumers have found new or alternate methods of acquiring music so making new and used DVDs a much greater part of our merchandising is part of our evolving business model. The name change is in recognition of this new reality. We're also expanding our sales of non-music items in-store, while at the same time doing more and more of our sales of all product, including music, online." http://www.thestore24.com/allthatmusic
All That Music & Video is by no means abandoning its loyal customer base of music fans. "We will continue to be the local source for music, including hard-to-find items and oldies," says Reynoso, "in fact we plan to give our longtime & loyal customers, many of them baby-boomers, even better service than we have before. We're broadening our base, while at the same time directing new efforts and attention towards our core customers."
